Exploration not explanation, that's GodFilms. Each open-ended short film invites individuals, small groups and congregations to search, discuss and discover Biblical application together. Rather than experts explaining issues, GodFilms are often mysterious and thought-provoking, pushing us to unwrap Jesus' teaching in a new way.
We at GodFilms are focused on sharing stories that encourage Christians to think. And, it is our hope that you will enjoy the challenge!
GodFilms uses peer-to-peer learning techniques in an incubator-style environment to help unleash conversations in small groups.
If you purchase the packaged DVD version of GodFilms productions, you’ll receive a 32-page full-color discussion guide. It contains images, scripture, thoughts, reflections and study questions that help unwrap the mystery and open up the conversation. The discussion guide also features endnotes that shed even more light on the film. A free single-page version is available for download on the website (Acrobat Reader is required).
Digital Diary series from GodFilms
If you enjoy watching and discussing movies, you'll like Digital Diary, the first groundbreaking series from GodFilms. Each 10-12 minute short film features one individual on a mysterious and introspective journey to understand where God is in his or her life. And, each journey features a personal "digital diary" that causes the person (or individual, character) to stop, look and listen to Jesus' teachings. There are currently two stories available, with more stories coming soon!
